It was a joke of a hiring from the start, Steve and I both agreed on that (I think).
Rick "The Gambler" Tocchet takes over the Lightning squad for the time being.
Tampa is a woeful 5-7-4 to start the season, one that began with a lot of promise and new faces, most notably that of first overall draft pick Steven Stamkos. Melrose was criticized for the lack of playing time he gave the star rookie.
